I moved into Swiss Cottage by havitat a few months ago, and honestly, it didn’t take long for it to feel like home. Living here in Santry has this quiet ease to it; everything I need is either within reach or built right into the place itself.
My mornings usually start with sunlight pouring into the living room. I’ve got my personal balcony, a bright little spot where I sip coffee, check emails, or just watch the world wake up.
It’s one of those places you keep going back to without ever getting bored.

The real beauty of life at Swiss Cottage, for me, lies in the shared amenities that are thoughtfully designed by havitat to support both work and leisure. My morning routine usually involves a workout in the on-site gym, then catching up on emails from a dedicated work pod in the business lounge. In the evening, there’s nothing better than winding down with a film in the private media room.

I also love spending time in the residents’ lounge, especially with a coffee, it’s perfect for casual chats or just relaxing with a book. In the evenings, the landscaped courtyard and rooftop terrace are my go-to spots for unwinding. It’s the little conveniences that make a big difference too, like
secure bicycle and parcel storage, EV charging points, and access to a resident car-share Club Car.
Living at Swiss Cottage means I have Santry Demesne Park just a 5-minute walk from my door. It’s a beautifully kept green space with wide open lawns, mature woodlands, and a peaceful lake, perfect for morning jogs, weekend strolls, or even a spontaneous picnic when the sun decides to show up.

I enjoy occasional visits to the National Botanic Gardens, which is just a short 10-minute drive away. It’s the perfect spot for some peaceful time surrounded by nature. With its immersive botanical displays, it’s a place I can appreciate year round, even on rainy days.

What’s a good home without great food nearby? As a havitat resident, Santry has quickly
become one of my favourite spots for casual dining and weekend brunches. I love Gourmet
Food Parlour, it’s just a 10-minute walk away and has a laid-back vibe with a beautiful setting.
When I’m craving Italian, just 15 minutes away is Little Venice that always hits the spot.

When I need to stock up on essentials, Omni Park Shopping Centre is just steps away. It has everything I need, from grocery stores and pharmacies to fashion outlets and even a cinema, which is perfect for a low-key weekend or a last-minute errand run.

What makes Swiss Cottage by havitat stand out for me isn’t just the finishes or the amenities, it’s how it makes everyday life feel easier. Whether I’m hosting a dinner, relaxing in the courtyard, working remotely in peace, or taking a spontaneous stroll in the park, there’s a calm rhythm to life here that truly makes it feel like home.
This isn’t just renting. It’s truly living.
