A whole latte love: The best coffee shops in Cabinteely

Cabinteely has called your name, you’ve made the move, and now it’s time to settle in and find your feet.

Like any good guide, we’re here to make your life easier, brighter and, most importantly, in this case, significantly more energised, thanks to the smattering of gorgeously ground coffee shops in and around your new home turf in Cabinteely.

Here are our favourite coffee shop picks in Cabinteely:

  1. Piccolo Bistro Caffe

Flying under the radar in the somewhat randomly located Tesco Express in the Park Shopping Centre, what Piccolo lacks in scenic settings, it more than makes up for in delicious coffee and tasty bites.

Balancing Irish classics like a full breakfast with freshly ground coffee and cannelloni to make even the fussiest of Italians happy, this family-run institution is the perfect place to take a breather and recoup! Grazie for that!

  1. Urbun, Old Bray Road, Cabinteely

Industrial chic and with a distinctively Irish mission, Urban comes from humble beginnings as a farmer’s market stand. Now, their excellent food meets equally amazing coffee sits together under their reinforced, Insta-appropriate concrete ceiling on the Old Bray Road.

With produce all locally sourced and Irish where possible, everything from the freshly baked bread to the Wicklow eggs and thick-cut bacon is of the highest quality. Of course, all dishes and bakes are perfectly accompanied by a freshly ground cup of coffee from Urbun’s best baristas- we’ll raise a cup to that!

  1. The Coffee Duck, The Mart, Bray Rd, Cornelscourt

The perfect place to duck out of the day-to-day and into a little slice of heaven, the Coffee Duck are BIG on brewing the perfect coffee and serves Dublin’s favourite 3fe, in case you need further persuasion.

Big on bean flavour, the Coffee Duck also offers fresh sandwiches and delicious sweet treats to accompany your cup of joe (or joy, depending on how you look at it).

Open from 7:30 am on weekdays, and 8:30 am on Saturdays, swing by and get your day off to a delicious caffeinated start.

  1. Crush Coffee House, Cornelscourt Village

If you like your coffee beans served with a side of smiles, and potentially delicious, homebaked treats, then Crush Coffee House needs to be on your list!

Compact in size but certainly not in flavour, and open seven days a week serving whopper grilled sandwiches and fresh, flaky pastries, this is coffee made with passion and knowledge, so be sure to call in and say hi!

So, whether you’re in the mood for a cosy café, a hip hole-in-the-wall, a friendly family-run spot, or an experimental brew, Cabinteely has it all. Not just places to grab a quick caffeine fix; make these spots your community hub for relaxing, working, getting to know your new neighbours, or just soaking up the atmosphere and vibes of gorgeous Cabinteely.

Go on, espresso yourself!
